The November/December 2005 issue of ‘’Angel Magazine’’ reports that, James Marsters (famous to fans everywhere as Spike, the British, blond tressed, super cool vampire from ‘’Buffy The Vampire Slayer’’ and ‘’Angel’’), and the creators of the WB TV Network’s ‘’Smallville’’ are so taken with the actor’s portrayal of Professor Milton Fine (secretly the evil Brainiac), that the two have signed a deal for Marsters to come on board and reprise the role for 10 episodes, this season.

‘’Smallville’’, currently enjoying its fifth season, is enjoying another infusion from the ‘’Buffy/Angel’’ universe, bringing the franchise’s staff writer, Steven S. DeKnight into the ‘’Smallville’’ fold.

Obviously, Marsters is thrilled to be collaborating once more with DeKnight and says, ‘’It’s going to be unbelievable.’’

Also, for all you Superman fans, yeah, we know in the comics, Brainiac was bald as a cueball. But don’t expect any resemblances to ‘’sexy Lexy’’ Luthor’s clean shaven dome fashion statement from Marsters.

Marsters’ fans would storm the WB set if the ‘’Smallville’’ crew took a razor to his gorgeous locks. A note on Marsters’ website states, ‘’Don’t worry. James will not be shaving his head, nor will he be bleached blond!’’

Our sexy James (Marsters, James Marsters..has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it, better than that Bond, James Bond guy!), says he is very pleased with the quality and style in which ‘’Smallville’’, and how all of the show’s actors are filmed and directed, stating ‘’These actors are all on their game, I can tell.’’

‘’Angel Magazine’’ also reports that E! Online interviewed our sweet baby James who confirmed that grand pubah, ‘’Buffy/Angel’’ creator, Joss Whedon, personally called James to discuss doing the Spike TV movie we are all hot under the collar about, but adds that James’s Manager says the project is ‘’nothing we have on our radar at the moment’’.

We’re patient Joss. When you’re ready, we’ll be here, same time, same channel and set to tune in to our favorite vamp, whenever you decide to amaze and dazzle us with the Spike TV movie!
