‘’GQ Magazine’s British Edition for October 2005, which is available in the good old USA as well, offers ‘’The GQ 2005 Men Of The Year Awards’’. The cover features a glorious fold out photo spread with our favorite men including, Sir Bob Geldof (you know we love him!), ‘’American Idol’s’’ Simon Cowell, Pierce Brosnan, Jay-Z, Daniel Craig, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry, and more. Inside are in depth interviews with the gorgeous, intelligent hunks, who also each appear in very dashing photo layouts.

Our top honors go to…..

First runner up, ''GQ's Personality Of The Year'', ‘’meany’’ Simon Cowell, who though candid as ever, comes off quite the affectionate, hard working man. He delves into a painful period where he lost every cent he had during his tenure at a record company that went belly up. He also talks frankly, yet ‘’Oh my God!’’ politely and kindly about his experiences in putting up with the good, the bad, and the very ugly, talents that audition and compete on ‘’American Idol’’, and about the lady love in his life. What a guy. Who’d a thought, eh!

Winner by a landslide, ''GQ's Oustanding Achievement Of The Year'', hey you knob! Who else would it be? Sir Bob Geldof, who through the magic of ‘’GQ’s’’ fashion advisors, looks so F**KING dapper, dashing, suave, and debonair in several stylish suits and dress wear, we needed to fan ourselves from our getting all hot and bothered. OH!!

Then Sir Bob proceeds to reveal what we already know. What an intelligent, idealistic, selfless, talented music man on a lifelong mission he is. (which makes him oh, SO sexy to us!!!!) Talking us silly about stuff we just find delightfully delectable.

Let’s see, Live 8, his crusades to find solutions to world poverty, remastering and reissuing 6 of The Boomtown Rats record catalog, his work on a Channel 4 documentary discussing what should be a father’s parental rights to care for their own children after divorce (which unlike the USA, in Britain, fathers literally have no rights whatsoever), producing a 6 part BBC series on Africa, his own solo music career (which we are a HUGE fan of), all which will culminate this month, October, 2005, when Universal/Mercury Records releases a comprehensive multi disc CD retrospective focusing on the solo music career of our adorable knight.

King Arthur, maybe not. But a modern knight of the round table on one hell of a crusade, out to save the world, who kicks rock ass and us with his Irish rocker ways, all while looking HOT, that Sir Bob most definitely is. Here’s one for ya Bob! Smooch! xx
