Zap2it.com reports that the one and only, venerable actor, James Marsters, will return to continue the story arc of his role as Krypton super powered villain, Brainiac, on the WB Television Network’s series, “Smallville”.

Brainiac, (posing under the guise of earthling good guy, aka sheep in wolf’s clothing, Professor Milton Fine), was introduced earlier this Season Five, on the series.

Marsters will bring good old bad guy Brainiac back in the “Smallville” upcoming new Spring 2006 episode, titled, “Hypnotic”.

“Hypnotic” will feature Brainiac’s attempts to free the evil General Zod from the Forbidden Zone.

Marsters (best known to an international cult fan base as Spike, the world’s coolest and sexiest British, rocking, leather clad, blond tressed vampire with the sarcastic, quipping veneer exterior and a super size heart of gold, who saved the world from evil forces, on both “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”), and his portrayal of Brainiac have proved a major boost to “Smallville’s” ratings this season, so viewer and fan expectations are high to say the least for MORE hijinx from this most talented, classically trained actor.

We also all know, that one can NEVER get enough or too much of this gifted artist, who as many Marsters fans already know, is a rockin’ singer/songwriter and musician, who this fall 2005, released his own solo music CD, “Civilized Man”, toured across England, Europe, and appeared at some of Los Angeles’s top music clubs performing his songs, and staged his own original, one man musical theatrical show, “James Marsters: Words And Music”, which was a smash in England! (Seems those Brits love our guy as much as we Stateside fans!)

Which leads us to, DRUM ROLL!!!!

TODAY, Tuesday, January 17, 2006, Marsters releases the DVD of his one man show, “Words And Music” showcasing James in all his musical and dramatic glory performing live in London, for some two hours!

The DVD highlights James’s own unique interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragic play, Macbeth, followed by James’s live concert performing several acoustic tunes; his very own self penned NEW songs that he has not yet recorded (but we certainly hope you DO record and release them James!).
