Magneto….actor, Sir Ian McKellen seems to be the most talkative member of the film’s cast, because in addition to his TV talk show guest appearances on KTLA, “Jimmy Kimmel”, and a wonderful in depth interview in the May 2006 issue of “Total Film Magazine”, here are TWO in depth, on line interviews from Zap2it.com. and Scifi.com for YOU to READ and VIEW!

The June 2006 issue of “Starlog Magazine” features FOUR GREAT, in depth interviews, ALL featuring NEW PHOTOS too, covering “X-Men: The Last Stand”!!!!

Pages 55-59 Talks with luminous actor, Hugh Jackman (aka Logan/Wolverine) in “Of Savage Nature” and has some GREAT NEW PHOTOS!

Hugh enthuses his genuine delight, honor, and joy at his continuing opportunity to work in the “X-Men” films, reprising his now signature role as Wolverine. He talks about how satisfying and challenging it is to portray such a complex character, who at the core, though introduced in the first “X-Men” film as a loner, in “X-Men: The Last Stand”, Logan evolves into a leader whose loyalty, camaraderie, compassion, and heart shine through.

WE especially love when Hugh discusses Logan’s relationship with Rogue, and their tender, unbreakable bond of friendship that becomes even more poignant through the 3 “X-Men” films to transform into something of great and touching beauty in “X-Men: The Last Stand”.

Hugh also discusses the already, much ballyhooed, Wolverine spin-off movie which may even feature the return of Logan’s nemesis, Colonel William Stryker (actor, Brian Cox), which in being a film that solely concentrates on Logan, rather than the entire and admittedly many “X-Men” characters featured in the 3 “X-Men” films, would examine and explore the mystery and enigma behind Logan’s bewildering amnesia, metal covered skeleton and claws, and of course, the heart and mind that IS Logan and makes him, perhaps, “X-Men’s” most beloved character!

Pages 60-64 “In Mutant Combat” talks in depth with actress, Halle Berry (Storm), actress, Famke Janssen (Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix), Visual Effects Supervisor John Bruno, Director Brett Ratner and MORE and ALSO features NEW PHOTOS!

Read all about how the making of the movie, the special effects, sets, and….

…..WE especially were THRILLED to read Bruno discussing how Bobby/Iceman, literally BECOMES, SOLID ICE just as he does in the “X-Men” comics!!!!

Pages 65-67 “The Burden Of The Beast” Chats up with Beast himself, esteemed actor, Kelsey Grammer, who extols Beast’s virtues of intelligence, pacifism, and involvement in politics and also features NEW PHOTOS!

Pages 68-70 “Wings Of The Angel” cozies up with the white winged Angel, actor, Ben Foster and also features NEW PHOTOS!

Foster (and WE) were ecstatic to hear all about Ben asking and being exhilerated to do his own stunt, wire work, taking to the skies in flight himself! Talk about EXTREME acting, sports, action, you name it!

But WE really felt our heart melt when Ben discussed that the single, significant, defining element that has made the “X-Men” comics and films so endearing to fans, and enduring for 4 decades now, is their inherent humanity, whose characters are “these people (who) are dealing with incredible conflicts and issues involving morals, beliefs, and responsibilities.”

You will also LOVE the MANY PHOTOS of the “X-Men” comics that show the ever evolving artwork and changing looks of Wolverine, Beast, and Angel!

Thanks “Starlog”!
