Our mutants kicked “The Da Vinci Code” WAY down into 2nd place, earning a mere $43 million.

WE are jumping for joy, and would like to add, that we went to see “X-Men: The Last Stand” TWICE over the holiday weekend, and on the SECOND visit to the cinema, WE sat through the triumphant film, (which we grew to not only like, but to LOVE, MORE and MORE, while observing and GAINING many and more, integral, intricate, and equal parts epic, sublime insights with each and every viewing)…..

……THREE TIMES On Monday, May 29, 2006 and cried and smiled with both sadness, AND JOY, at this epic, superb film!!!!

….With Professor Xavier’s consciousness and spirit safe and alive (wink!)….

….The brilliantly heroic Dr. Hank McCoy appointed as the United States, United Nations Ambassador for ALL U.S. Citizens….human and MUTANT alike by the President of the U.S., (we agree Logan, “Way to go, Furball!”)….

….The forever stratospherically valiant, heroic, courageous, and stalwart Storm and Logan stepping up to the plate to keep both the Professor’s safe haven School For Gifted Youngsters and dream of a peaceful, UNITED world alive with a magnificently, emotionally uplifting, resonant parting camera shot of Logan standing among the rose garden at the mansion….

….followed by the equally uplifting….

….Inspiring white winged and aptly named Angel, soaring high, and FREE, among the bright horizon of the sunlit sky as a TRIUMPHANT SYMBOL of Professor Xavier’s dream REALIZED AT LAST, of a peaceful co-existence between humans and mutants….

….WE have no doubt that there may indeed be an “X-Men 4” film, and even if this IS the LAST STAND, what a TRIUMPH of HOPE and INSPIRATION it is!!!!

In memorium to Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Professor Charles Xavier…..

…..with GRATITUDE from THIS WRITER and a plethora of KUDOS for:

....This Utterly Magnificent, Bravura Masterpiece to:

….Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, Ben Foster, Rebecca Romijn, and the ENTIRE ENSEMBLE CAST…..

….Director Brett Ratner, “X-Men” Creator Stan Lee (nice cameo!), Music Score Composer John Powell, and THE ENTIRE CREW of…..

………….”X-Men: The Last Stand”!!!!……..

………….BOTH This Writer and the Fans…..

…………..THANK YOU!!!! BRAVO!!!!
