Along with the film’s opening day midnight showings in the wee hours of Thursday night 5/25/2006 and early bird Friday morning 5/26/2006, the film comes in only second to the opening day and one day record set and held by “Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith”, which grossed some $50 million at the box office.

“X-Men: The Last Stand” has all this Memorial Day weekend to potentially topple the Memorial Day weekend box office domestic and worldwide gross records set by Director Steven Spielberg’s “The Lost World” at $90 and “Shrek 2” at $95!
