The February 17, 2006 issue of “Entertainment Weekly Magazine” reports that actor, Frankie Muniz, our own, little “Malcom In The Middle”, and actress, Samaire Armstrong, best known for her role as Anna in Season One of “The O.C.”, are starring in a new horror flick, “Stay Alive” due for release March 24, 2006.

The teen shocker, according to “Entertainment Weekly Magazine” is “”The Ring” meets “Zathura”” and centers on, “a group of teens, (which Muniz and Armstrong belong to), who play a mysterious video game, and suddenly find themselves being murdered in the same ways as their game characters.”

Sounds delicious! In a scream fest sort of way!

We can’t wait to see both Muniz and Armstrong sink their teeth into more cutting edge, dramatic, dare we say it, terrifying roles, showing that our two little wholesome “soft twist” kids are becoming all grown up, while getting a chance to showcase their range of acting chops.

No more cutsie Malcolm and Anna! Welcome to teens gone wild in the gorefest slasher, Hell House!

Now all of you Role Playing game fans, just remember when you see this film, as they say, “It’s only a movie, it’s only a movie”!

We are such a fan of baby blue eyed Frankie Muniz, who has shown that he can transfer his star quality and talents from the small, television screen to light up the big, silver screen, as CIA Super Secret, “Agent Cody Banks”, which was such a hit with fans, that of course, Muniz reprised his mini Super Spy role in the film’s sequel, “Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London”.

And of course, you all know we think the world of cutie, patootie, Samaire Armstrong.

Armstrong made such an indelible, adorable impression on fans of “The O.C.” with her amazing effervescence, that even though “O.C.” creator/writer Josh Schwartz had initially written just a couple of episodes story arc featuring Armstrong’s character, Anna, he wound up writing and further developing Anna’s character into most of Season One to please the overwhelming response to Anna, from both Armstrong’s and “The O.C.’s” fans.

Look for Armstrong’s Anna to make a special return, guest appearance in several more episodes of this 2006, Season Three of “The O.C”, we hear sometime this April 2006!

In the meantime, prepare to be scared by the rollercoster fright ride of “Stay Alive”!

BUUUAAAAHHHHH!!!! Did we scare you!
