We are SO happy for one of our favorite stars, talented actor, Tobey Maguire, infamous to fans worldwide for his portrayal of the web spinning super hero, “Spider-Man”, on his engagement to girlfriend and lady love, Jennifer Meyer!

Zap2it.com reports that the superstar, blue eyed, dreamy, Maguire, popped the wedded bliss question to his real life Mary Jane Watson, this past weekend with a stunning engagement ring from Tiffany’s!

Maguire and Meyer, who have been a couple for three years, have not yet set a date for their impending nuptials.

Meyer is the daughter of Ron Meyer, who heads up Universal Film Studios, so it looks like Maguire has a super powered fiance to match his super powered star status!

Maguire has become an icon for film, comics, and “Spider-Man” fans globally for portraying the red and blue clad super hero not only in the first “Spider-Man” film, but for also becoming identified as one with the legendary, beloved, blockbuster movie character crime fighter and purveyor of justice, by reprising his role in “Spider-Man 2” and….

….Of course, Maguire is currently back again as “Spidey”, shooting the now in production, “Spider-Man 3”, which is filming on location in Cleveland all of this week!

Maguire also garnered rave reviews and showed off his dramatic acting chops in the critically and commercially acclaimed “Seabiscuit”, portraying Depression era America, real life jockey, Red Pollard, in a hauntingly beautiful performance filled with emotional despair, depth, conviction, brevity, and ultimately, triumph, bonding with the horse of the title name, in this true tale of courage and triumph over incredible adversity.

“Spider-Man 3” is set for release May 7, 2007!
