‘’Jeff Probst Inks Another Season For ‘’Survivor!’’’’

Today’s newspaper wire services are reporting that TV reality series, ‘’Survivor’’ will indeed be back for another season this year.

The show’s creator, Jeff Probst, has actually inked a multiyear contract that will keep the show coming back for quite some time on its home at the CBS Television Network, says CBS spokesman, Chris Ender. So it seems that the rabid cult of fans addicted to ‘’Survivor’’ can breathe a sigh of relief that they can continue to tune in each week, to see who gets kicked off whatever far away, international wilderness or tropical location the series takes its members, and who walks away victorious with the truckload of money.

Jeff Probst says that he had contemplated what his life would be like had he ended production on the series and he concluded that he enjoys doing the show far too much to end its run now, stating, ‘’I was thinking about retiring and spending my time traveling to exotic locations around the world, meeting new and interesting people. Then I realized, uh, wait a second, I’m already doing that with ‘’Survivor’’ and getting paid for it, as well.’’

So on with the show! We can’t wait to see where Probst will take the new season’s members and what bitchy, cut throat, survival of the fittest antics those new members will be up to, in determining the last man or woman standing to not be voted off by the other members, to become the ultimate winner of a boat load of cash.

As for Probst choosing new locations. We’d like to see say, hmmm, Alaska, (yeah! try life living in an igloo, getting your food by ice fishing and trapping, your only transportation being a dog sled, fending off polar bears, white outs, slipping and sliding on glaciers!), or maybe somewhere in the African wilderness with lions and elephants, or some way off tropical island like Kiwi, or maybe somewhere in the Amazon jungle with unfriendly…er…natives and insects the size of a football. Now we’re talking! How about you?!

We invite your comments on where YOU think the series should take its members, next.
