We don’t know about you, but we are very much looking forward to the film adaptation of beloved writer C.S. Lewis’s classic children’s book, ‘’The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe’’, which opens this Friday, December 9, in theaters nationwide.

The trailers are both thrilling and dazzling and this film seems a top contender for knocking ‘’Harry Potter’’ out of the number 1 spot at the box office.

A majestic, regal, spectacular feast, both visually and in epic storytelling, combining both live action and CGI images and effects, the film tells the tale of four British children hiding from World War II’s German blitz bombings, by being sent to the country estate of a Professor for their safety.

While staying at the Professor’s manor, the four siblings venture upon and enter a wardrobe, which leads them directly into the magical land of Narnia.

Narnia itself, is an allegory of WWII London being besieged by Hitler's Nazi Germany, since Narnia itself is also under the evil spell of Jadis, the White Witch, portrayed by actress, Tilda Swinton, who has frozen Narnia into an eternal winter, of cold, ice, desolation, and despair.

But as is the case with most fables, a hero rises to the occasion to restore order, light, and hope. And who better than the noble lion, Aslan, voiced by the most venerable, esteemed, and talented actor, Liam Neeson.

Aslan and his animal comrades in arms ally themselves to save both the children and Narnia in a battle of good versus evil and somehow we just know that this courageous, benevolent lion and his charges will triumph, as so will our spirits with this timeless story being brought to life on the silver screen.
