“X-Men: The Last Stand” and “Superman Returns” are just 2 of the blockbuster film and television, special effects filled extravaganzas that will be highlighted and discussed at panels being held at this year’s, 2006 Festival Of Visual Effects!!!!
The Festival Of Visual Effects, which is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, will be held July 6, 2006 through July 8, 2006 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, California!!!!
“Cars” and “Smallville” will also be showcased at the event, which is coordinated by The Visual Effects Society!
Academy Award winners Dennis Muren, John Myhre, Robert Skotak, Mark Stetson and a treasure trove of others visual effects artists will be the honored guest speakers conducting and hosting panels that YOU, the FANS, of course, can attend!
There will be panel discussions and workshops, “showcasing cutting edge technological advances, historical achievements, strategic planning and forecasting for the future of visual effects in film, television, and animation.”
There will be a NEW “Festival Courtyard”, “featuring VFX entertainment industry vendors, visual effects displays, and the Hospitality Tent.”
