Johnny Depp has always acknowledged that his FIRST love is MUSIC, then acting!
WE are happy to report that the August 21, 2006 issue of "In Touch Magazine", reports that JOHNNY personally recorded and is releasing HIS VERY OWN, 2 CD album of PIRATE BALLADS, SONGS, and SEA CHANTEYS, entitled!!!!....
...."Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, & Chanteys" on August 22, 2006!!!!....
...."In Touch" says that, "Johnny Depp has been nominated for Oscars for his acting, but rumor has it that the "Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" star may be looking to score a GRAMMY as well!"....
...."Inspired by his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, Johnny has recorded a STAR STUDDED, TWO CD, SET, of sea chanteys and ballads about sailors!"....
....""I've always believed Johnny is a musician first and the actor thing is just his day job", says "Pirates" Director Gore Verbinski to "In Touch", "who also worked on the project.""....

....JOHNNY also PLAYED GUITAR in his DELICIOUSLY, charming, romantic and charismatic role as the dashing Gypsy, Roux, in Director Lasse Hallestrom's Indie Flick, "Chocolat"!!!!....
....WE can't wait to hear this double CD! WE are CERTAIN, that like everything JOHNNY DEPP applies his creative gifts and talents to, it will ROCK....in a PIRATE way of course, MATEYS!!!!
